Sometimes things make me want to puke all over myself and then set the world on fire
This is one of those things
It’s also one of those things that, no matter how I try, happens to punch me straight in the guts at this point in my life where I’m still insecure about myself and still trying to gain personal confidence in expressing my sexuality/loving other people. Ads like this just make me feel sad and subhuman on a level no matter what I do to boost my confidence because I know that out there there are millions of people who think that I’m less than human for loving men and women at the same time.
And I’m able to deal with it and I’m able to overcome it and remind myself that who I am is just fine, but I always think about all the kids who don’t have that ability or who are susceptible to the point where things like this could really harm them.
And the idea that adults are putting this out there, this harmful message, fully knowing that that is happening is really and truly disgusting.
